Schedule OSB Service Using ESS

* Login to SOA 12c EM console as weblogic user.
* Select the Scheduling Services -> ESSAPP ()

* Select the Scheduling Services -> Job Requests -> Define Schedules

* Create Schedule by clicking the “Create” button.

* Create Schedule by clicking the “Create” button.

* Enter the Field Values as below and click OK

Name : OSBService

Display Name : OSBService

Package         : /oracle/apps/ess/custom/osb

Description : OSBService

Frequency : 3 hours

Time Zone : EST

Start Date : 5-Sep-2017 10:00:00 PM

Use End Date : Not to be selected

1   * Create the Job Definitions as shown below:

a.      Create the Job Definition details as below:

Name                           :              OSBService _PS

Display Name             :              OSBService _Service

Package                      :              /oracle/apps/ess/custom

Description                 :              OSBService _PS

Job Type                      :              AsyncWebserviceJobType

        ‘Select Web Service’ and enter the WSDL URL as ‘https://<OSBProxyServiceURL>?wsdl’ and WSDL type as “ServiceBus”

b.      Click “OK” button to fetch the WSDL

c.      Select the fields as :

Services               :              osbprocess_client_ep

Port Type             :           osbProcess_pt

Invoke Operation :              process

Payload                : <varies depends on your OSB Service>

                   d.  Click “OK” to confirm.

 e.  Click again “OK” in the Create Job Definition page.

* Submit the JOB

           a. Select the ‘Submit Job Request’ as shown below:




    b. Search the Job using the search icon.

    c. Enter the search attribute as below

d. Select the ‘OSBService_PS’ job and click OK.

e.  Select the Schedule type as below: 

 User existing schedule and select the created schedule ‘OSBService’

               f. Click OK 


* Check the Job running at schedule time
          a. Select the ‘Search Job Request’ as shown below:
       

b.      Search the Job using the Job Definition icon.

c.  Search the Job using the Job Definition icon.

a.      Verify the service executed at the configured time.
